Darlington School announces new Soccer Academy

Darlington’s newest program, the Soccer Academy, offers committed and competitive soccer players the opportunity to excel in the high school classroom and on the soccer field. Student-athletes take advantage of Darlington School’s college-preparatory boarding program where challenging academics, diverse activities, and a highly competitive soccer training regimen work together to help them reach goals in life.

Director Chad A. Liddle, U.S. Soccer National Instructor Staff, NSCAA National Staff Coach, USSF “A” license, Region III ODP Staff, assisted by nationally licensed coaches and performance training specialists, brings years of experience to Darlington’s soccer fields. Training includes the following:

• Technical—individual and functional/position-specific skills training

• Tactics—Individual awareness, small and large group tactics

• Physical—Soccer-specific strength, speed, and endurance development as well as nutrition education

• Psychological—Relationship development and mental conditioning, life skills
