The Darlington Players' spring production of A.R. Gurney's The Dining Room transported our audiences into one or many of our very own dining room experiences. Comprised of a variety of interrelated scenes that take place in a dining room, the cast of eight change roles, personalities and ages with virtuoso skill as they portray a wide variety of characters. Stephanie Bowen, Allen Babcock, Morgan McCrary, and Raul Gonzalez wildly celebrate a birthday party while two of the parents attempt to discuss their doomed clandestined affair. In an earlier vignette, Raul Gonzalez chastises his maid, played by Liz Fine, for leaving seeds in his orange juice.
