Darlington Parents Association presents murderous affair

Was it the maid with a duster in the laundry room, or the gardener with a hoe in the greenhouse, or the proverbial butler with a candlestick in the dining room? Darlington parents and friends will get a crack at solving this mystery when the Parents Association presents “Murder under the Magnolias.”
Scheduled for March 29, 2003, 7 p.m., Coosa Country Club, the event will be professionally produced by Bacchus Entertainment complete with dinner, a 10-actor cast, and period costuming. The production will be audience-interactive and the table of participants who first solve the mystery based on clues integrated into the production will receive prizes.
All proceeds of the event will fund faculty scholarships for summer continuing education as well as support student extracurricular activities. The production is the Parents Association primary fundraiser for the school year.
Tickets are $125 per person or $1,000 for tables of ten. Those unable to attend but who would like to sponsor a faculty member, or those who are interested in table pre-purchase may contact Lenora Santoro at 706-235-5047. Individual invitations will be mailed in mid-February. Participation is limited to the first 200 people on a first come, first served basis.
