Darlington Offers Language, Travel Program

Darlington students who wish to have first-hand experiences using their foreign language skills, studying, and learning about other cultures, will have the opportunity this summer when Darlington faculty members Marisa and Carlos Ortega are chaperone a trip to Spain June16 - July7. Estimated cost per students (based on 12 minimum) is $3500. The language, home-stay and travel program includes roundtrip airfare from Atlanta to Spain, a two-week language and home-stay program at Lacuriza-Intrenational House (including cost of classes, books, half-board, and daily activities, June 17 - June 30), Guggenheim Museum, an orientation tour in Madrid, special dinners in Madrid and Granada, three-nights hotel in Madrid with breakfast, day-trip to Segovia, two-nights hotel in Granada, two-night stay in Sevilla, AVE train tickets, and many transfers. The final cost and payment schedule are to be determined in October.
