Darlington Choral Ensembles Participates at Festival

The Boy’s Octet and the Girl’s Sextet participated in the second annual Shorter College A Cappella Choral Festival on Saturday, Feb. 3. The two groups were adjudicated by Dr. John Ratledge and Dr. Martha Shaw, Shorter College faculty. After the adjudication both professors worked with the ensembles on various vocal techniques that would further enhance the vocalists’ overall performances. Students attending this festival included Tripp Alexander, Trip Barnes, Kaye Beacham, Tia Brown, Russell Evans, Rachel Fronzak, Daniel Gay, Kate Herron, Paul Kountz, Jeremy Martin, Erin Pridgen, Mika Wells, Jordano Williams, and Harris York.
