Copyright Tidbit from the Library - Image Quest Database

Today's copyright tidbit from the library is a great resource for right-cleared images called Britannica Image Quest Database. This database is accessible to all Darlington students, parents, and faculty through our Darlington website. 

Britannica Image Quest is a database that has 3 million images from 46 professional collections, including Encyclopedia Britannica, the National Portrait Gallery, the Natural History Museum, and the National Geographic Society. 

One of the great things about Image Quest is that students can access ready-made citations in different formats for each image that they download. 

To access Image Quest: 

1. Visit the library webpage on our school website*: https://www.darlingtonschool.org/library.(Check to make sure you are logged in - you will not be able to access the database if you are not.) 
2. Click the tan tab that says "Resources." It should turn gold. 
3. Scroll down to the "Images / Sounds / Videos" category. 
4. Click "Image Quest." (If you don't see Image Quest as a choice, you may not be logged into the website.)
