Concert Choir to perform with Shorter College group

Darlington’s Concert Choir will combine with the Shorter College Chorus to present the “Faure Requiem” Sunday, April 9 at 3 p.m. in Brookes Chapel (on the Shorter College campus).
According to Choral Director Dan Bishop, the Concert Choir will also be featured at the beginning of the concert.
“They will perform ‘Sing Me to Heaven’ by Gawthrop, ‘Praise His Holy Name’ by Hampton and ‘The Lord’s Prayer’ by Ratledge,” he said. “We are all very excited about this opportunity to perform with the Shorter group, and we hope the Darlington community will come out and support us.”
Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior adults. Tickets may be purchased through the Shorter College Box Office by calling 706-233-7288.
