Concert Choir to Participate in Festival as Featured Choir

Darlington’s Concert Choir has been invited to participate in the Northwest Georgia Choral Festival, sponsored by the Shorter College School of the Art. The featured guest choir for the festival, the Concert Choir will perform on Monday, Nov. 1, in the Winthrop-King Centre at Shorter College.
Each year a choral group is selected to present a 20-minute concert prior to the Festival Chorus concert, Darlington choral director Dan Bishop said.
“We are very honored and excited to have been chosen this year to represent Darlington at such a successful event. I know our students will have a great choral experience,” Bishop said.
Each participant will receive two free tickets to the concert, and additional tickets may be purchased at the door at a cost of $7 for adults and $5 for students. For more information, contact Dan Bishop at 706-236-0457 or dbishop@darlington.rome.ga.us.
