College scholarships through May 7

The College Guidance Office announces the following college scholarships reported April 2 through May 7:

Sarah Clements earned a $2,000 Prince Alumni Presidential Scholarship, a $16,000 Presidential Scholarship, and a $52,296 Out-of-State Tutition Scholarship from Clemson University. She is the daughter of Alice and Frank Clements of Rome.

Hannah Dodd earned a $9,600 Freshman Scholarship from Florida State University and a $42,000 Dean's Scholarship from Arizona State University. She is the daughter of Teresa and Jay Dodd of Armuchee, Ga.

Mac Gilliland earned a $90,000 Dean's Scholarship from Centre College and a $40,000 Honor Scholarship from Davidson College. He is the son of Lynn and Bill Gilliland of Staunton, Va.

Kendra Harris earned a $32,000 Buschmann Award and a $32,000 Francis X. Weniger Scholarship from Xavier University. She is the daughter of Hopie Harris of Stone Mountain, Ga.

Garrett Henderson earned an $11,400 scholarship from the University of Alabama School of Music and a $40,000 scholarship from Mercer University. He is the son of Nancy and Barry Henderson of Aragon, Ga.

Kent Hubbard earned a $6,000 Spirit Foundation Scholarship from Auburn University. He is the son of William Hubbard of Atlanta and Joan Hubbard, also of Atlanta.

Tim Kim earned a $16,600 Tiger Scholars Award from Louisiana State University. He is the son of Heeun and Jack Kim of Rome.

Douglas MacKimm earned a $16,600 Tiger Scholars Award from Louisiana State University. He is the son of Belinda and Mark MacKimm of Rome.

Logan O'Riley earned a $40,000 theatre scholarship and an $8,000 Oikos Scholar Award from Oklahoma City University. He is the son of Anne Hobdy of Rome.

Brooke Wilkins earned a $4,000 Georgia Alpha Delta Kappa State Scholarship. She is the daughter of Brian Wilkins of Rome and Julie Ackerman of Woodstock, Ga.
