College scholarships through May 27

The College Guidance Office announces the following college scholarships reported April 3 through May 27:
Anjali Banerjee has earned a $68,000 Founders Scholarship from Tulane University. She is the daughter of Pam and Ashim Banerjee of Rome.
Emily Barron has earned a $60,000 scholarship from Agnes Scott College, a $52,000 scholarship from Hollins University and a $32,000 merit award from Franklin College in Switzerland. She is the daughter of Lynne and Frank Barron of Rome and Trisha Berry of Fairburn, Ga.
Korea Black has earned a $52,000 Francis Winship Walters Scholarship from Agnes Scott College. She is the daughter of Candy Fulmer of Lyerly, Ga.
Meg Bowden has earned a $5,000 Academic Excellence Scholarship from the University of Mississippi. She is the daughter of Mary and Paul Bowden of Jackson, Miss.
Garrett Brown has earned a $2,000 National Merit Scholarship. He is the son of Valerie and Vann Brown of Cloudland, Ga.
Rachel Buckle has earned an $88,000 Frederick Douglas Scholarship from American University and a $2,500 National Achievement Scholarship. She is the daughter of Dr. Raphael and Lena Buckle of Acworth, Ga.
Alexandra Dodd has earned a $4,000 Charter Scholarship from the University of Georgia, an $83,280 merit scholarship from Rhodes College, a $104,000 Vice Chancellor and Merit Scholarship from the University of the South. She is the daughter of Julia and Gayland Dodd of Rome.
Adrienne Hamil has earned a $60,000 Honor Scholarship from Agnes Scott College. She is the daughter of Jeanne and Tom Hamil of Newnan, Ga.
Julia Hansen has earned a $41,315 athletic scholarship from the University of the Pacific to play tennis. She is the daughter of Sabine and Gert Hansen of Hamburg, Germany.
Beau Kanskulthorn has earned a $60,000 academic scholarship from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is the daughter of Rochana Mongkolpati of Bangkhuntain, Thailand.
Mike Limpornpipat has earned a $40,000 academic scholarship from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is the son of Thitima Limpornpipat of Muang, Thailand.
Jackie Pober has earned a $96,000 Presidential Scholarship from Tulane University and an $80,000 Twenty-First-Century Scholarship from Mount Holyoke. She is the daughter of Elizabeth Citrin of Daphne, Ala.
Jett Wayne Puckett has earned a $140,000 James B. Duke Scholarship from Furman University and a $64,000 Georgia M. Wilkins Scholarship from the University of the South. He is the son of Joy and Jett Puckett of Rome.
Stephanie Schecter has earned a $64,000 William E. Duckwitz Talent Scholarship from Stetson University. She is the daughter of Dr. Jay and Gina Schecter of Rome.
Murat Varol has earned a $32,000 merit scholarship from Rollins College. He is the son of Mine and Mustafa Varol of Edmond, Okla.
Abby Vincent has earned a $1,000 Golden Circle Theatre Scholarship from Valdosta State University. She is the daughter of Vicki and Jim Vincent of Rome.
