College scholarships through May 1

The College Guidance Office announces the following college scholarships reported April 4 through May 1:
Norman Bonnyman earned a $48,000 Honors Scholarship from Kenyon College and a $135,480 Chancellor's Scholarship from Vanderbilt University. He is the son of Jean and Al Bonnyman of Rome, Ga.
Katherine Burton earned a $46,000 Trustee Academic Achievement Scholarship from Eckerd College. She is the daughter of Patricia Burton of Cartersville, Ga., and Kirk Burton of Pinehurst, N.C.
Adam Diggs earned an $21,792 Spirit of Auburn Founders Scholarship from Auburn University. He is the son of Susan and Jimmy Diggs of Rome, Ga.
Jenna Gable earned a $40,000 scholarship from Mercer University, a $52,000 Bailey Scholarship from Mary Baldwin College, a $24,000 Dean's Scholarship from Shorter College, and a $32,000 scholarship from Berry College. She is the daughter of Julie and Barry Gable of Lindale, Ga.
Anna Krueger earned a $140,000 Morehead-Cain Scholarship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is the daughter of Dr. Kirk and Anne Krueger of Trion, Ga.
Tia Thorpe earned a $24,000 International Student Scholarship from John Carroll University. She is the daughter of Joan and Victor Thorpe of Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica.
