College scholarships through March 31

The following college scholarships were reported to the College Guidance Office from Feb. 27 through March 31:
Amber Barker earned $55,000 in scholarships from the University of South Carolina. She is the daughter of Stanley and Sandra Barker of Rome.
Bethany Blevins earned $44,000 in scholarships from Shorter College, $45,000 in scholarships from Berry College, $36,000 in scholarships from Reinhardt College, $10,000 in scholarships from Truett McConnell College, and $32,000 in scholarships from Oglethorpe University. She is the daughter of Tracy and Michelle Blevins of Rome.
Miriah Martin earned a $10,000 Fredonia Award for Excellence from SUNY (State University of New York College) at Fredonia. She is the daughter of Craig and Johanne Martin of Lindale, Ga.
Anna Orr earned a $8,000 21st Century Scholarship from Florida State University. She is the daughter of Jim and Jo Orr of Rome.
Ae Prasitmeeboon earned a $20,000 scholarship from the University of Alabama in recognition for her superior performance at the high school physics contest Feb. 3. She is the daughter of Kanya Prasitmeeboon of Bangkok, Thailand.
