College scholarships through March 1

The following college scholarships were reported to the College Guidance Office between Feb. 2 and March 1:
Anna Katherine Cates has earned a $179,464 Carolina Scholarship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is the daughter of Christi and Bruce Cates of Rome.
Huy Hoang has earned an $80,000 Honors Scholarship from Northeastern University. He is the son of Nhiem Hoang and Thuy Nguyen of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Elijah McKoy has earned a $101,600 Faculty Scholarship from Stetson University. He is the son of Pat Kidd and Dr. Raymond McKoy, both of Rome.
Miju Obanikoro has earned a $92,000 Incentive Award and Grant from Pace University and a $62,000 Dean's Scholarship from Suffolk University. She is the daughter of Moroophat and Mohammed Obanikoro.
Avery Smith has earned a $7,600 Academic Excellence Scholarship and an $8,000 Academic Non-Resident Scholarship from the University of Mississippi. She is the daughter of Beth and Scott Smith of Rome.
