College scholarships through July 7

The following college scholarships were reported to the College Guidance Office from June 5 though July 7:
Elliott Harrison earned a $34,000 University Scholarship from Mercer University and a $5,000 President's Cabinet Scholarship from the University of Alabama. He is the son of Steve and Judy Harrison of Rome.
Clark McGehee earned $39,352 in academic scholarships from Auburn University and a $1,500 McMillan Family Endowed Scholarship from Auburn's department of chemical engineering. He also earned a $12,000 scholarship from Virginia Tech, a $20,000 scholarship from the University of Alabama, a $23,000 National Merit Finalist Scholarship from the University of Florida, and was accepted into Georgia Tech's Honors Program. He is the son of Rob and Cindy McGehee of Rome.
