College scholarships through Jan. 26

The College Guidance Office announces the following college scholarships reported through Jan. 26:
Danielle Brooks earned a $24,000 Faculty Scholarship from Young Harris College. She is the daughter of Bob and Rhonda Brooks of Rome.
Phillip Glover earned a $34,000 University Scholarship from Mercer University. He is the son of Greg and Jenni Glover of Rome.
Miriah Martin earned a $1,000 academic scholarship from the State University of New York in Fredonia. She is the daughter of Craig and Johanne Martin of Lindale, Ga.
Quincy Matthews earned a $16,000 Faculty Scholarship to Shorter College. She is the daughter of Gene and Rhonda Matthews of Cave Spring, Ga.
Clark McGehee earned a $39,352 academic scholarship from Auburn University. He has also been named a semifinalist in Georgia Tech's President's Scholarship, placing in the top 10 percent of 4,656 applicants. He is the son of Rob and Cindy McGehee of Rome.
Laura Roberts earned a $51,400 Golden Oaks Award from Louisiana State University. She has also been accepted into the school's Honors College. She is the daughter of Jerry and Carolyn Roberts of Rome.
Trey Robinson earned a $4,000 academic scholarship to Clemson University. He is the son of Neil and Vicki Robinson of Charleston, S.C.
