College scholarships through Feb. 27

The College Guidance Office announces the following college scholarships reported Jan. 22 through Feb. 27:
Alex Copeland earned a $72,000 Academic Achievement Award from Tulane University. He is the son of Robert and Lulu Copeland of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.
C.J. Cypress earned a $12,000 Faculty Scholarship from Young Harris College. He is the son of Sybil Cypress of Alameda, Calif., and Cornell Cypress of Atlanta, Ga.
Michelle Picon earned a $58,000 Trustee Distinguished Scholarship from Rice University. She is the daughter of Dr. Hector and Michelle Picon of Rome.
Lee Taylor earned a $24,000 Fletcher Award from Sweetbriar College. She is the daughter of John and Julia Taylor of Rome.
