College scholarships through Dec. 5

The College Guidance Office announces the following college scholarships reported through Dec. 5:



Corey Alford earned a $24,000 scholarship from Young Harris College. He is the son of Donna and Rudy Alford of Lindale, Ga.

Adam Diggs earned a $20,000 scholarship from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a $6,000 scholarship from Auburn University. He is the son of Susan and Jimmy Diggs of Rome, Ga.

Andy Giannakakis earned an $32,000 academic scholarship from the University of West Virginia. He is the son of Sara Giannakakis of Rome, Ga., and Dennis Giannakakis of Cedartown, Ga.

Brett Henson earned a $180,000 NROTC Scholarship. He is the son of Wanda and David Henson of Elko, Nev.

Jessica Large earned a $20,000 scholarship from Young Harris College. She is the daughter of Evelyne and Brad Large of Warner Robins, Ga., and Lucette and Red Froshour of Centerville, Ga.

Caitlin Murray earned a $36,000 academic scholarship from Webster University. She is the daughter of Laura and Raymond Murray of Rome, Ga.

Michael Schecter earned a $9,600 scholarship from Florida State University Scholarship and a $72,000 academic and athletic scholarship from Wofford College. He is the son of Dr. Jay and Gina Schecter of Rome, Ga.

Dottie Vincent earned a $72,000 Presidential Scholarship from Elmira College. She is the daughter of Vicki and Jim Vincent of Rome, Ga.
