College scholarships through April 2

The College Guidance Office announces the following college scholarships reported March 3 through April 2:
Morgan Birdsong earned a $48,000 University Scholarship from Mercer University. She is the daughter of Chris and Jimmy Birdsong of Rome.
Sarah Clements earned a $48,000 Achievement Scholarship and a $20,000 Honor Scholarship from Furman University, as well as a $181,200 Cornell Scholarship from Rollins College. She is the daughter of Alice and Frank Clements of Rome.
Mac Gilliland earned a $64,000 Georgia M. Wilkins Scholarship from The University of the South and a $70,000 Faculty Scholarship from Centre College. He is the son of Lynn and Bill Gilliland of Staunton, Va.
Andy Lewis earned a $96,000 Presidential Scholar Award from Tulane University. He is the son of Diane and Gregg Lewis of Rome.
Clint Monteith earned a $20,000 Community Service Scholarship from Tulane University. He is the son of Libby and David Monteith of Rome.
Kelly O'Mara earned a $20,000 Presidents' Award from The University of the South and a $48,000 Honors Scholarship from Agnes Scott College. She is the daughter of Kathy and Paul O'Mara of Rome.
T.J. Shea earned a $44,144 Academic Heritage Scholarship and a $2,000 Colleges of Sciences and Mathematics Freshman Scholarship from Auburn University. He also earned a $16,000 Academic Excellence Scholarship from the University of Mississippi. He is the son of Janice and Tom Shea of Rome.
Kate Waters earned a $14,000 Charter Academic Scholarship and a $1,500 Colleges of Sciences and Mathematics Freshman Scholarship from Auburn University. She also earned a $64,000 University Scholarship from Mercer and a $16,000 Academic Excellence Scholarship from the University of Mississippi. She is the daughter of Kathy and Eric Waters of Rome.
Landon Watters earned a $60,000 McKissick Scholars Award from the University of South Carolina. She is the daughter of Judy and Bill Watters of Rome.
