Colgate ensemble to perform in Chapel

The Swinging Gates, a female vocal ensemble from Colgate University, Hamilton, N.Y., will perform in the Chapel, Jan. 8 at 10:40 a.m. A workshop will be held in the Choral Room following the Chapel concert.
Performing for students at elementary, middle, and high schools and on college campuses, the ensemble has been Colgate University’s only all-female singing group for more than 25 years. Their repertoire includes more than 80 songs and covers a wide range of styles including “It Had to be You,” “Midnight Train to Georgia,” and “Babylon.”
