Class studies Native American heritage

Beth Starnes’ first grade class stayed busy learning about our native American heritage during the month of November. They had a chance to read books about native Americans in a tee-pee which had been set up in their classroom reading center. Students also performed a Thanksgiving play both at school and at Riverwood Retirement Center where they enjoyed a Thanksgiving party as well.
