Lower School fourth graders explored chemistry, physics, and biology labs at the Upper School on May 15. Science instructor Julia Dodd planned the annual visit, and with help, planned activities, and presentations from Upper School science instructors Tim Garrett, Owen Kinney, and Laura Murray and Advanced Placement science students.

Kinney gave an insect presentation and offered students a chance to view many insect specimens using microscopes and magnifying glasses. They later toured the new nature lab.

"The Upper School teachers have invited us to visit their rooms for many years, and this field trip is one my students look forward to each year,” Lower School science teacher Lola Bradshaw, said. " We have visited each May. The exciting experiments and demonstrations certainly help to encourage the students' interest in science. "
