Cheerleading clinic scheduled for Jan. 22

Darlington School will host a winter cheerleading clinic for Lower School girls Saturday, Jan. 22, in the Huffman Center’s Johnson Fieldhouse. The clinic will be led by varsity basketball cheerleaders, with assistance from the football cheerleaders. Activities will be supervised by Varsity Cheerleading Coach Angela Pieroni.
The schedule will be as follows:
12:30-12:45 p.m. Registration
12:30-5 p.m. Clinic – chants, cheer, dance, snack (fruit, pretzels, lemonade) and games
5-6 p.m. Dinner (pizza and lemonade)
6 p.m. Sit in stands together to cheer on the varsity girls’ basketball team
8:10 p.m. Performance at halftime of varsity boys’ game
Participants should wear shorts or sweat pants, sneakers and socks. A clinic T-shirt will be provided for cheering/performing at the game. Because this is a one-day event, the School will be unable to provide a T-shirt to walk-ins, so please register by Jan. 14.
Cost for the clinic is $25, which includes a T-shirt, snack and dinner. For information or to register, please contact Angela Pieroni.
