Cheerleaders exhibit school spirit

Darlington varsity cheerleaders have been practicing hard this year, even over summer break. They went to cheerleading camp at Auburn University this summer where they received all-superior ribbons. Seniors Tiffany Payne and Lauren Muller both made the All - Star Squad for the second year in a row.
Once back home, the cheerleaders competed at the Coosa Valley Fair. In the spirit competition, they defeated every other school, except for Armuchee High School. Even in the end they put up a fight, resulting in several ties before declaring a winner. “JV is having an awesome season as well and looked great at fair,” said Leslie Higgins, varsity cheerleading head coach.
