While road work to accommodate construction of the new tunnel under Cave Spring Road has been completed, the exit gate from the main Upper School campus remains locked until all work on the tunnel is completed. Please note that no thru traffic is allowed on the lakeside of the Upper School campus. Entrance is still be allowed at the main gate on Darlington Drive but students must be dropped off at the intersection of the gymnasium and the Guest House. Cars may exit behind the gym at the Park Road gate or turn around and exit at the main gate. The Park Road gate will be open from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. each school day.

Drivers may want to consider another possible route to the Upper School Campus: coming from the north, continue south on US 411/US 27 (Martha Berry Hwy.), go past the Darlington Exit to the next exit, Primrose Street.

Turn right onto Primrose Street, which comes out at the fire station on Cave Spring Road. Turn right on Cave Spring Road, go to Park Road on the left in front of Rhonda's Convenience Store. Turn left onto Park Road, go 150 yards, turn right, and enter at the gate behind the gym. Security and parking directors are stationed behind the gym and at the Guest House intersection to assist in traffic flow.

The Trippeer Gate remains open to allow drop-offs to continue at the library steps and Trippeer parking lot.
