Dear Alumni,
Darlington School would like to pay tribute to alumni who are currently serving in the United States armed forces by featuring their stories in the fall edition of Darlington Magazine. If you are currently serving the U.S. in any capacity/location, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for first-person, journal-like accounts that detail poignant and specific instances of profound impact. We will be selecting several examples to appear in the magazine. Submitted material will be subject to marginal editing for space and style.
Please also send your official military photograph and any other photos that illustrate your story. In order to ensure the best quality in print, ideal images have a resolution of 300 dpi. You may send photos or scanned items (such as awards, commendations, medals, letters, etc.) as e-mail attachments to communications@darlingtonschool.org or by post to Communications Office, Darlington School, 1014 Cave Spring Rd., Rome, GA 30161. These items will be returned to you within one week.
Deadline for this material is Monday, Oct. 23. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Tannika King, director of media relations, at tking@darlingtonschool.org or 706-236-0422.
At Darlington, we appreciate you and what you mean to our country. This is a small way for us to salute your service. Thank you in advance for your participation, and we look forward to reading your stories.
Sincerely,
Darlington School Communications Office
