Bridge club holds first competition

After months of fun Saturday morning instructional time, Darlington’s team bridge club held their first competition November 10. Tollie Ross, the club's faculty adviser has been teaching students the game since September during weekly meetings in the Briley Lecture Room of the Darlington Library.
First-place victors on this momentous occasion included Charles Dean, Padrick Dennis, Frank Haslbauer, Jessica Leslie, and Arne Sanne. Coming in second place were Kendall Brooks, Russell Evans, Alex Gonzalez, and Matt Kleist. Third-place status went to Charlotte Baker, Jason Chapman, Adam Kijowski, and Paul Maxwell. Fourth-place went to Amanda Brant, William Krueger, Zach Norman, Drew Parker, and Robert Withers.
