Boys lacrosse says turnabout is fair play

When the seventh-ranked Tigers beat No.8 Chattahoochee 7-3 on April 27 to advance to the State quarterfinals and a match at No. 6 Pace Academy (9-3), the win was extra sweet. The Tigers turned the tables on the Cougars, who beat them 9-8 on April 23 in Alpharetta.
Maybe the Cougars shouldn’t have rubbed salt in the wound by leaving the score from the first meeting up for the Tigers to see when they returned. “Our kids got motivated by seeing the score up on the scoreboard,” Darlington coach Tim Foote reported to the Rome News-Tribune. “They came out gunning.
