Boo Review and Halloween play celebrate the season

Lower School students enjoyed the Halloween festivities with a musical presented by the second graders and the annual Boo Review of costumes.
This season’s second grade play was about the littlest pumpkin that never gets picked from the patch like its bigger pumpkin friends. Little Pumpkin was encouraged by Mrs. Scarecrow to see the Wise Old Pumpkin Man, who helped the littlest pumpkin realize that if you believe in your dreams they will come true. The fairies encouraged Little Pumpkin with the song "Dream On."
Through the music department, each grade at the Lower School does a musical each year. "The parents create the costumes and scenery and play a tremendous role in the success of the plays," Diane Lumpkin, music and drama teacher, said. "Without the parents' help the Lower School wouldn't be able to stage as many plays as it does each year."
