Boarding #SeniorSpotlight: Ziyi Yang

In this #SeniorSpotlight, get to know Ziyi Yang, a four-year boarding student from Beijing, China, a dorm leader in Regester House who plays in the orchestra pit for the winter musical.        
                
When you think of Darlington, what three words come to mind first?
Friends, comfy, memorable

When you think of high school, what song comes to mind? 
“友情岁月”

What house are you a member of?     
Regester House    

What are you involved in at Darlington?
Robotics Team, Math Team, winter musical pit, soccer, dorm leader in Regester House

What's your favorite place on campus and why?    
My dorm because I love my bed. 

Who's your favorite teacher and why?  
Mr. Shorey. He is really friendly and gives me  a lot of support in both academics and extracurricular activities.

What's your favorite thing about Darlington?    
The flexible schedule. 

Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.     
Walking around SIlver Lake after dinner and chasing the ducks.     

What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?     
Cooking.

Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?    
Undecided and I want to be a game developer.
