In this #SeniorSpotlight, get to know Tijana Parker, a three-year boarding student from Georgetown, Cayman Islands, and member of Darlington School Soccer Academy. 
                
When you think of Darlington, what three words come to mind first?
Homework, soccer, friends

What's your favorite show to binge watch?     
“Criminal Minds”

What house are you a member of?     
Regester House    

What are you involved in at Darlington?
Darlington School Soccer Academy

If you’re involved in the arts, what is your favorite activity and why?    
I enjoy painting because it can relieve stress and it comes out amazing almost always.    

What's your favorite place on campus and why?    
Soccer fields    

Who's your favorite teacher and why?  
Mr. Cox because he’s a  good storyteller and understands the thought process of a teenager; he also makes class more appealing (hard to do for English class). Mrs. O'Mara because she’s so sweet and understands when to be a friend and when to be a teacher.    

What's your favorite thing about Darlington?    
The lifelong friends I’ve made. 

Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.     
Going on trips with my soccer team ranging from Virginia to Florida. I couldn't do this back at home.    

What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?     
I've become more confident.    

Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?    
Elon and I’m thinking about the medical field.
