Boarding #SeniorSpotlight: Noah Morris

Let’s get to know Noah Morris, a four-year boarding student from Nassau, Bahamas, whose Senior Ventures project involves developing a fitness training program for students and faculty.
                
When you think of Darlington, what three words come to mind first?    
Leadership, self-Improvement, house involvement     

What's your favorite show to binge watch?     
“Family Guy”

What's your favorite restaurant in Rome?     
Dos Bros    

What house are you a member of?     
Neville

What are you involved in at Darlington?
Neville House head dorm perfect, Student Activities Committee leader, Weekend Team member, four-year weightlifter, Senior Ventures

If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?    
Joe Pitts because he is extremely knowledgeable about the human body and how the musculoskeletal system works. 

What's your favorite place on campus and why?    
The bench under the tree by the lake near the road because after the gym I go and call my friends and family while I wait for dinner. It is a nice and serene spot to relax by oneself.    

Who's your favorite teacher and why? 
Jennifer Sikes because we have many inside jokes and she places herself on the same level as her students, rather than acting high and mighty.    

What’s your favorite thing about Darlington?    
The opportunities it presents in my life through the connections made with students from all around the world.    

Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.     
RUMPUS and the extremely competitive atmosphere it creates.    

What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?    
I’ve grown to realize that social status does not matter. As a freshman coming from a school 1/5 of the size of Darlington, I was worried about making friends. After many years spent trying to please others, I finally decided to be myself and not care what others thought. I began to attract people into my life that were beneficial for me and drove me forward rather than crazy.     

What is your dream job?    
Physiatrist (yes, it is a real job)
