In this #SeniorSpotlight get to know Melody Zhao, a four-year boarding student from Guangzhou, China, who enjoys robotics and the performing arts.
What house are you a member of?
Regester House
What are you involved in at Darlington?
Robotics, theater, and I was head residential prefect in Cooper House when we had a first-year girls house
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
The lake because I always walk around the lake with my friends.
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
Ms. Mull because she’s always so supportive, and Mr. Marshall because he’s a great teacher and his class is fun.
What's your favorite thing about Darlington?
The diversity
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
Every year after Homecoming, my friends and I walk around the lake.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
I'm more confident to be different from others.
Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?
