In this #SeniorSpotlight, get to know Logan Parker, a three-year boarding student from Smyrna, Ga., who is editor-in-chief of the Jabberwokk yearbook and head of Black Student Union.
When you think of Darlington, what three words come to mind first?
Traditional, friendships, school
What's your favorite show to binge watch?
“Good Girls”
What house are you a member of?
Regester House
What are you involved in at Darlington?
Head prefect of Regester House, editor-in-chief of the yearbook, football cheerleader, head of Black Student Union
If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?
Mrs. Smyly because she demonstrates great care and devotion to each girl and the program.
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
My favorite spot is my room.
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
Ms. Merritt because I have the greatest connection with her.
What's your favorite thing about Darlington?
The availability to get help with your academics when needed and unique traditions.
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
Being the dancing queen in lip sync for RUMPUS.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
I have learned to manage my time better and learned to ask for help when needed.
Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?
Undecided.
