Let’s get to know Haley Mettrick, a two-year boarding student from Baltimore, Md., and member of Darlington School Soccer Academy.                         
         
When you think of Darlington, what three words come to mind first?    
Friends, soccer, CPR

What's your favorite restaurant in Rome?     
Blue Fin

What house are you a member of?     
Cooper

What are you involved in at Darlington?
Soccer Academy

What's your favorite place on campus and why?    
The soccer fields because where my friends and I usually are on weekends playing pickup.

Who's your favorite teacher and why? 
Mr. Hudson because he is the nicest teacher.

What’s your favorite thing about Darlington?    
My friends

Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.     
Being a boarding student and traveling across the East Coast with your sports team.     

What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?    
I’ve become more mature.

What is your dream job?    
Professional athlete
