Let’s get to know Grace Armstrong, a three-year boarding student from Atlanta who serves as a leader in Regester House and captain of the volleyball team.
When you think of Darlington, what three words come to mind first?
Friendship, connection, laughter
What's your favorite show to binge watch?
“Criminal Minds”
What's your favorite restaurant in Rome?
Blue Fin
What house are you a member of?
Regester House
What are you involved in at Darlington?
Varsity volleyball captain and house leader
If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?
Coach Kopp because she focuses on team bonding, encouragement and mental toughness.
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
The Kawamura Science Building because I love taking so many of those classes and being with caring teachers.
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
Ms. Shores because she made history enjoyable for me and was very engaged with her students.
What’s your favorite thing about Darlington?
The friendships I have made and how wherever I travel I will know someone.
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
Getting to make a Lip Sync for Regester during RUMPUS and teaching it to all the girls in my house.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
My work ethic is so much higher and I value my productivity and grades.
What is your dream job?
A forensic scientist
