Click here to read the Oct. 8 Rome News-Tribune article about yesterday's blood drive in honor of Darlington sophomore Jordan Muschamp. Thirty-eight pints of blood were donated during the five-hour event. Muschamp was diagnosed in March with acute myelogenous leukemia, a fast-developing cancer that begins in the bone marrow and requires immediate and aggressive treatment. He has undergone five rounds of chemo since then and is expected to make a full recovery.
