Betsy Hicks hopeful for tradition

Fifth-grade students were brought to Darlington’s Home on the Hill Monday, May 21 following the Lower School talent show. The reception served to informally welcome the students, who will be sixth-graders next fall, to the Middle School. The students’ parents were invited as well, and food was served. The reception was the idea of Betsy Hicks, wife of President David Hicks, who hopes that the event will become a tradition.
