Matthew Kearney will make a presentation entitled "Don't Overlook What You Are Looking Over," about editing a literary and art review, at the Journalism Education Association and National Scholastic Press Association's annual convention in Albuquerque, N.M., Saturday, April 10, 1999.
Darlington's community service program is continuing its service in the community with the following scheduled events: Atlanta Community Foodbank trip, Saturday, April 17, and March of Dimes Walk-a-thon at Berry College, Saturday, April 24. The group will also enjoy a community service picnic, Thursday, April 29.
Tom Sorci was interviewed by College Board News about enhancements to Essay Prep, software to prepare for AP exams. Sorci's opinions will appear in the March edition of College Board News, published in New York City and distributed widely. The College Board learned of Sorci from Educational Testing Service (ETS), where he has served as an on-line scoring network reader and test developer/consultant for many years.
The state scholar bowl tournament will be held Friday, March 26, and Saturday, March 27, in Milledgeville, Ga.
