• Junior Jeff Hortman attended the Hugh O’Brian Youth statewide seminar June 2-4. Jeff was selected as the only boy ambassador for the HOBY World Leadership Conference. Jeff will travel to Washington D. C. July 21-29 to attend the convention.
• Craig Schmidt, history department chairman, was selected to participate in the annual reading and scoring of the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations in European History in June.
• John Cox, Upper School English instructor, has been selected to advise The Inkslinger, the Upper School literary magazine.
• Dean of Studies and College Guidance Sam Moss’63 spent one week of the summer serving on the faculty of a professional institute at Emory University training new college admission officers.
