Basketball: Postseason success reverses trend

This weekend’s success started on Friday night, when four girls teams — Model, Darlington, Rome and Calhoun — each posted victories and sewed up their spots in the Sweet 16. The Lady Tigers defeated Holy Innocents 49-31.
The Darlington girls will play Towns County High School in round two of the state playoffs on Feb. 28.
