Baseball: Darlington splits with Jeff Davis in playoff series

In Game 1, the Tigers scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to rally from down 4-1 to grab a 6-4 lead and eventually win the opening contest, 7-4.

In Game 2, the Jackets took a cue from Darlington’s Game 1 rally and plated five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 7-3 lead and held on for a 7-6 win.

The Tigers will host Jeff Davis for a decisive game 3 today at 2 p.m. Admission is $7.
