Bartow parents gather, voice interests

Parents like Cartersville Host Committee member Fareed Kadum and guest Sandra Hart connect with other Darlington parents and administrators during Darlington’s first Parent Gathering for Bartow County parents, held at Valley View, the home of Mary and Bob Norton. Darlington President David Hicks and others had the opportunity to hear first-hand the thoughts and concerns Cartersville area parents have regarding the School. The discussion covered a wide range of topics including academics, sports, transportation, and communications.
Host Committee members included Anne and Arnold Tilman, Maryann and John Durnien, Mary Jane and Tom Bevill, Jayne and Fareed Kadum, Nancy and Jeff Brant, and Jody and Delean Brandon. Other parents attending the gathering included Ann and Steve Wilhoite, Vandi and Harry White, Luanne and Terry Tumlin, Julia Knight, Curtis Hart, Nanci and Stewart Griggs, and Peg and Paul Baron.
