Barnes retreat strengthens relationships

Students from Barnes House were treated to an overnight retreat the weekend of October 6. The fun-filled weekend excursion began at a ranch in Dahlonega. “We played cards, baseball, football, stood next to a campfire,” senior Henry Rodriguez said. On Sunday, the trip continued on to Oktoberfest in Helen, Ga. where students enjoyed browsing the shops, the German cuisine in local restaurants, and watching the people.“Overall, we had a real good weekend out,” said Rodriguez.
