Barnes continues making House a home

It’s a family affair in Barnes House, whether the boys are meeting for Bible study, enjoying late night movies and snacks in Reba Barnes’ apartment, or stimulating brain cells with one of Reba’s special exam week breakfasts.
On Nov. 15, Barnes boys were treated to haircuts by a hairstylist hired to come to the House. Sure it is pampering the boys to bring the hairstylist to them rather than the other way around, but it is also a sure-fire way to keep those locks within dress code.
Barnes’ boys are treated well in other ways as well. Each morning of exams, Barnes prepares a special breakfast for the boys to start their day off right. And, the boys can often be found in the Barnes’ and her husband, Wendell’s, apartment in the House—playing card games, building puzzles, eating ethnic food prepared by one of the international students, or watching late night movies.
