Director of International Students Betsy Awsumb will be in Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei as part of The Association of Boarding Schools’ (TABS) Asia travel program, in October. The program will give more than 50 admission representatives from various boarding schools the chance to meet with potential students, participate in boarding school fairs, and represent their schools.
“I want to meet as many potential families as possible while I’m traveling and would appreciate help from alumni and parents,” Awsumb said. “I hope they will contact me if they know of potential families that might be interested in Darlington so that I can make arrangements.”
Awsumb’s travel itinerary is as follows: Tokyo, Oct. 18-20; Seoul, Oct. 20-23; Singapore, Oct. 23-25; Bangkok, Oct. 25-28; and Taipei, Oct. 28-30. Referrals may be sent to Awsumb at bawsumb@darlingtonschool.org.
