Athletic teams continue 14-year run in GADA top 10

The Georgia Athletic Directors Association (GADA) has once again recognized Darlington in the top 10 among Class AA high schools. The School placed ninth in the 2002-03 school year.
Only the position earned at the GHSA State Championships is used to determine points in the Directors Cup standings. Results from region tournaments/competitions are not included in the points system. Points are awarded as follows: State Champion, 100 points; State Runner-Up, 80 points; 3rd - 4th Place, 60 points; 5th - 8th Place, 40 points; 9th - 16th Place, 20 points; 17th - 32nd Place, 10 points.
Darlington’s athletic teams have finished in the top 10 every year since the 1999-2000 school year, the first year the Directors Cup was awarded.
