The following Darlington students received awards during the spring sports assembly on Wednesday, May 12:
The John Maddox Memorial Trophy (spirit and performance in track and field): Jordan Bray and Abbas Bandukwala
The Malcolm Lenwood Foster Jr. Trophy (excellence in track and field): Chris Presley
The James Enfield Berry Memorial Trophy (spirit and leadership in track and field): David Swift
Team Spirit Award Girls Track: Whitney Keene
The James Jeffrey Gaither Award (persistence and dedication in track): Ana Monroe Fitzner
The Jack Barkell Award (golfer with the lowest average score): Joe Holmes
The Hustler Award for Baseball: Vann Knight
The Batting Championship Trophy (highest batting average for season): Jim Pardue
The Harry L. Boss Sr. Memorial Award (best varsity baseball player): Justin Amos
The James Carraway Soccer Award (outstanding sportsmanship on soccer field): Matthew Black
The Doug Brown Award for Soccer (most valuable varsity soccer player): Mohammed Shideed
Cunningham Jr. Soccer Coaches Award (greatest value to coaches and team): Hermano Souto
The Phillip M. Ham Spirit Award for Soccer (spirit and loyalty in soccer): Patrick Biondo
