Atha directs football camp

Darlington students and coaches participated in the fourth annual Quarterback/Receiver Camp, held June 11-15 and directed by Varsity Football Assistant Coach Tommy Atha. According to Atha, 62 kids ranging from fifth-graders to rising ninth-graders attended the camp, including students from Darlington, Pepperrell, Armuchee, Rome, Cedartown, and Model. In addition to Atha, varsity coaches from Darlington and Cedartown staffed the camp, as did former Louisville University quarterback Jason Payne '91 and former Auburn All-American quarterback Jeff Burger.
