Atha ('17) and Nighthawks advance to NCAA II Final Four

Anna Claire Atha ('17) and the North Georgia College & State University Nighthawks women's basketball team will compete in the NCAA II Final Four tonight at 9:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. 

Atha, a redshirt senior guard who transferred to North Georgia after starting her college career at Wofford and overcoming multiple knee injuries, has been a solid player off the bench for the Nighthawks this season. She scored four points in Monday’s win over Pace University.  

At Darlington, Atha holds the school record for All-Time Leading Scorer with 2,239 points. She also holds school records for most points in a game (46), most three-point baskets made in a season (71) and in a career (202), most free throws made in a season (224) and in a career (623), and highest scoring average in a season at 25.1 points per game.
