Association requests Choice Award nominations

The Parents Association is requesting nominations from the Darlington community for the recently established Parents’ Choice Award, a cash bonus awarded to a distinguished member of the Darlington faculty who has shown significant commitment to the School, its mission, and students. Parents have already committed $52,000 to permanently endow this faculty award. This honor will be given for the first time during faculty appreciation week this academic year.
The Parents Association will choose recipient(s) based on the following criteria: each beneficiary must be a member of the Upper and/or Middle School faculty, having served the School for at least five years; possess great skill and leadership ability; demonstrate a commitment to the Darlington Motto; and be a faithful member of the Darlington community and epitomize its cooperative spirit. This award may be received more than once, but no more than once in a five-year period.
